Account information: when you sign in, we receive basic account details from our authentication provider, such as your name, email address, and user identifier.
Profile information: you may choose to provide personal details such as date of birth, height, and sex/gender for app features like life arc and health references.
App content: we store the information you add to MyLife, including timelines, goals, assets, subscriptions, budgets, recipes, health logs, travel notes, feedback, and related labels or notes.
Waitlist information: if you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, consent timestamp, source, and early-access status.
Usage and device information: we may collect limited technical information, such as page performance, browser/device details, error information, and basic usage signals to improve the service.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, secure, and maintain the MyLife service.
To authenticate users and manage access, including early-access eligibility.
To save and display your personal dashboard data across features.
To respond to feedback, feature requests, bug reports, and support questions.
To improve reliability, performance, usability, and product direction.
To contact waitlist members or users about early access and product-related updates.

3. Authentication, Storage, and Service Providers

MyLife uses third-party service providers to operate the product. These may include Clerk for authentication, Supabase for database storage, Vercel for hosting and performance insights, and OpenAI for optional natural-language parsing features.
These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to us, subject to their own security and privacy commitments.
Authentication cookies and similar technologies may be used to keep you signed in, protect sessions, and secure the application.
Some preview or convenience features may use browser storage, such as localStorage or sessionStorage, to remember values on your device.

4. AI and Natural-Language Features

Some features may allow you to enter natural-language text so the app can parse or structure it, such as turning a life event description into fields.
When you use those features, the text you submit may be sent to an AI service provider for processing.
Do not enter sensitive information into AI-powered fields unless you are comfortable with it being processed for that feature.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate MyLife, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information stored in MyLife.
No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the product.
You may request deletion of your account data, subject to any records we need to retain for legal, security, or operational reasons.

8. Your Choices

You can update profile and app data from within MyLife.
You can choose what personal information to add to optional features.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.
You can stop using the service at any time.

9. Children

MyLife is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
